Infill Wall Framing
Infill Wall Framing - Lafarge deflection head bracket (Ref DHB100, 1500 & 200) available to suit 100, 150, 200 deep sections as standard (other depths subject to quantity).
The deflection head bracket is screw fixed to the head track. Vertical stud section lips slot in to bracket forming movement type joint.

- Head track, size and gauge to design.
Detail must allow deflection of structural floor slab.
- Stud section - size & gauge to design, screw fix to base track both flanges.
- Loadbearing structural frame.
- Restraint bracing comprising 38 x 1.0mm galvanised flat screw fixed to studs.
Stud section 'blocking' at every third bay snug fit between verticals and screw fix to horizontal plate bracing.
- Base track section size and gauge to design. Bolt to structural frame (see fixing schedule) size and centres to design.
